Honorary Doctors

The newly founded Tbilisi State University elected the first honorary doctor in the very first semester on March 15, 1918. The professors’ Board awarded and outstanding Russian scientist Nikodim Kondakov the title of Honorary Member of the University (1844-1925).

So far more than seventy outstanding public figures and noted scientists have been awarded Tbilisi State University Honorary Doctoral Degrees, among them are:
